LOOKING AT THE FUTURE OF MAKGEOLLI THROUGH WINE

Owner Brewer - Jun Keun Kim.

He has obtained "Le diploma de brevet professionnel sommelier" from France. He worked as a professional sommelier for many years, but the ever-changing trends in viticulture and winemaking caused crucial issues. Many winemakers strive to properly express the purity of their grapes. They study hundreds of thousands of varieties and imbue their own philosophy into their wine. He felt something was wrong. It was a strange feeling he had about Korean alcohol when he and his friends drank. Soju, Beer, Whiskey, and Makgool. He had one question, and it changed his life, "Wiry, isn't traditional Korean alcohol made honestly?" Wine trends have changed and developed, sometimes slowly and sometimes rapidly, over a long period of time.Advances in outivation and brewing technology have blurred the lines between lies and truth, but people still remember the importance of purity. Foods and beverages require honesty; This became a massive cascade. The development of international trends changed his perspective on traditional Korean alcohol. Categorically! He realized that the most significant problem was the brewing method. He came to this conclusion because a lot of alcohol is being made dishonesty. It's made with chemical additives, preservatives, and sweeteners. This is not the right way to do it.He was convinced that there was no future without change. He stated, "Traditional Korean alcohol must move forward." He wants to restore the traditions collected for thousands of years in a modern way. He believes that harmony between the purity of tradition and modern technology is the way of the future.

RESPECT TRADITION, BELIEVE IN TECHNOLOGY

While he drew a lot of inspiration from wine, he says emphatically. "Makgeoli and wine have nothing to do with each other." Makgeolli is made from rice, and wine is made from grapes. This demonstrates the stark difference between grains and fruits as row materials. He knows this more closely than anyone else. He believes that finding an identity is the only path to a better future. Some of the philosophies required for this unique way of creating traditional.Korean alcohol follows below. No chemical additives, No preservatives, and No sweeteners. To achieve this, we select specific varieties of rice grown all over the country. We focus on raw materials to brow delightful and pure Makgeoll. Embraco modern technology. Many producers use ancient methods. Respect for tradition is necessary, but there is something we must not forget: Traditional brewers didn't have access to the technology we have now. We embrace traditional brewing methods with a focus on modem technology. This mindset affords better opportunities and can even improve upon tradition. This is our passion for purity. We are very interested in collaborations as well. Many ideas from different kinds of environments stimulate our creativity. If you are a chef, we can create a drink that perfectly matches your cuisine. Maybe you are looking for a drink with your brand image or something just for you. The aroma and taste that you have only imagined come true with us. We can create it!

WE BREW WITH A PASSION FOR HARMONY

We use three labels, yellow, blue, and red, to encompass the traditional and the modern. Yellow label is brewed using traditional Korean Nuruk. This is a very interesting ingredient. Each artisan's creation has a different aroma and taste because the natural environments are all different from each other. It was called an "Ingredient made by God because humans can't predict the flavor it would imbue. Now, you, too, can enjoy a variety of aromas and tastes from nature. Blue label is our standard. Based on favor stability, the individuality of various natural ingredients is accurately expressed. It is brwed using Koji for that purpose. We brew fun drinks with unique natural ingredients like the fruits and herbs that you can see around you. Red label is the most fun. We use grains other than rice. Maybe it can be described as a little more of an international flavor. We can also use Nuruk or Koji and sometimes both together. Simply put, it is a category that pursues fun without limitations. Everyone, from newbies to those with extensive experience, can find something fun to enjoy. All of our labels tell a story. For example, Happy Boy's label was inspired by a childhood photo of the head of Drunkon Factory. It is based on a picture he found in a photo album that belonged to his beloved grandfather. He made the label to commemorate his grandfather's love. In this way, all the labels we create tell their own shoes and have their own faults. The Drunken Factory invites you to join us on our journey of exploration. You can feel our passion and discover our love for purity. Let's take the journey together!
