Jiranjigyo Brewery is a traditional Korean brewery located in Sunchang, Jeollabuk-do. They are renowned for producing a variety of Sool(traditional Korean alcoholic beverages), including Jiranjigyo Takju, Jiranjigyo Fig Takju, and Jiranjigyo Yakju. The brewery prides itself on its traditional methods, such as using their own fermented nuruk (a fermentation starter) and home-grown figs to create their unique fig takju.

While they do not currently sell distilled spirits, there is anticipation for future products as they are aging soju in traditional pottery distillers.
The name “Jiranjigyo” is inspired by a phrase that means “friendship as precious as orchids,” reflecting the brewery’s philosophy that good alcohol should be enjoyed with good friends. They have been acknowledged for their quality, having won an award for their premium takju at the Korean Traditional Alcohol Competition.
